About

Hello, my name is Amber Lepley and I am a technical design and fabrication artist. My main goal is to research new advancements in technology and develop their applications within the context of digital fabrication and design, as well as interactive and immersive environments. 

I received my BFA in Technical Design and Production at Point Park University Conservatory of Preforming Arts, and my MFA in Technical Direction at California Institute of the Arts. 

I have done technical work for On Track Themes, Thinkwell Group, the Pittsburgh Repertory , Pittsburgh Irish Classical Theatre, Dorset Theatre Festival (Dorset, Vermont), the Brevard Music Center (Brevard, North Carolina), The Mattress Factory (Inner and Outer Space by Yumi Komi/Pittsburg), and The National Aviary (Wings by Michael Essad). I have curated and presented work for the Digital Arts Expo 2013/2014/2015 at CalArts.

Additionally I have presented work at the NIME conference (LSU- 2015).
